About The Project This system is designed to track the process of drivers moving throughout the facility, as well as store information about them. There is a table on the individual drivers, containing personal information about each of the drivers on staff. Then there is a truck table that is essentially what we are tracking through the facility, seeing how productive these teams are. Finally we have the timestamp table that really lets us gain insight on how productive the facility as a whole is. So when the driver enters the facility he will be clocked into department one. After he is done with the tasks he needs to complete in this department, he will move on to the next department and repeat the process. From the information in this database, it can really allow upper management to manage the individual delays, and allow them to have quicker responses to the delays that are occurring. With the department average report, we can really see what parts of the overall process are dragging down the overall average time of the drivers. Upper management can really focus their efforts on the departments that are consistently not meeting the expectations set forth. Included in the report is the department standard, one of the options is maybe the department standard is unreasonable, or is too far from the actual average, and changing the time might be necessary. But in general this report will allow upper management to set standards for the departments and to have better accountability of delays in the process
